Ginetta company owner Lawrence Tomlinson brought the new Ginetta G50 Sportscar home in an outstanding 2nd place in its debut race at the Nogaro meeting of the GT4 European Cup field.

Lawence said “It’s quite an achievement for a car that’s only done three hours of running before coming here” said Tomlinson. “Nothing broke, we’ve had no worries but a lot of interest in the car.”

“We came here to put the car through its paces, put some valuable mileage on it in racing conditions and show the world the car existed” continued Tomlinson. “The GT4 Championship organisers ran their rule over the car and now we’re leaving with a trophy and a GT4 passport that opens up so many doors for this adaptable car”

As part of the very condensed development programme the racing and production G50 3.5 litre V6 engines are supplied by Power Torque Engineering Ltd in addition to many other components used on both G20 and G50 models.
